Project Background

This project was funded by UNFPA and jointly implemented with ADRA Cameroon. It seeks to reduce the three delays to emergency obstetrics care (EmOC) in the Northern parts of Cameroon.

It uses mHealth technology, incorporating a mix of sms for clinicians and pregnant women in distress and GPS locations of women in distress.

The app also allowed text messages to be sent to women sexual reproductive including family planning, ANC attendance as well as reminders for hospital appointments and vaccinations.
